Cheryl Teague Clipperton, 64, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully at her childhood home on Monday, April 15, 2024, after a valiant fight against lung cancer.
Born in Winston-Salem on New Year’s Day, 1960, Cheryl was the beloved daughter of the late George and Hellen Teague. She was a dedicated wife, a loving mother, and a cherished sister. Cheryl is survived by her husband, Kevin Clipperton; her son, Phil Booe, his wife Becky, and their children Alexander and Katherine; her siblings, Betty, Sandra, and Mike; and several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl was a loyal employee at Wells Fargo, working diligently up until her final days. She enjoyed TV and scary movies, loved good food, and cherished time spent with her dogs and her husband. Her life was filled with laughter and love, shared generously with all who knew her.
A private memorial service was held on Thursday, April 18th at St. John Lutheran Church in Winston-Salem, officiated by the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe.
Cheryl will be forever remembered for her resilient spirit, her kind heart, and her enduring affection for her family. Her legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire those who knew her.
