Barry Flinchum Obituary

Mr. Barry Flinchum was born July 10, 1946 to Pearl Smith Flinchum and Henry Harrison Flinchum. He was preceded in death by his brother Ned Harrison Flinchum and sister Emerine Flinchum Boles. Barry is sruvived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Shirley Styers Flinchum, son Matthew Lee Flinchum, daughter-in-law Angie Tuttle Flinchum, and three grandchildren: Jake, Garrett and Alaina Flinchum.

Barry was a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnessed in Walnut Cove, serving in various capacities over the past 40 years. He loved a good joke, fishing, Tarheel basketball, collecting rocks and coins and watching old Elvis movies.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Walnut Cove, 1363 US 311 HWY N, on Sunday, December 16th at 4 pm. Brother Larry Langdon will officiate.
