Carolyn Michelle Hunter Byrd, age 48 of pinnacle, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. She had been at Forsyth Medical Center from April 23rd through May 22nd with congestive heart failure. She lost her battle with CHF on the 4th at her home.
Ms. Byrd was born on February 28, 1975 in Forsyth County to Peggy Lester & the late Phillip Lester.
Carolyn was a former CNA & recently enrolled in school again, with her focus on criminal justice law.
Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Peggy Lester, her grandmother, Nellie Pursley; one aunt, Debbie Taylor with her husband & children, James Taylor & Kristy Stout; one uncle, Tim Hunter with his wife & children; her sister & best friend, Tabby Mabe & her daughter, Kenzie Mabe; & her other best friend, Trina Umberger & her daughter, Danielle. Also left to cherish her memory are her cousins & special friends Candy, Tammy Smith & Gina Bogler.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, Phillip Lester & her brother, Cody Edwards.
