Darren Long: January 4, 1969-November 8, 2023.

Darren graduated from South Stokes High School and got his Bachelors' Degree from Appalachian State University.

Darren was a wonderful friend to many and enjoyed going to concerts and fishing with them. He was an artist and enjoyed making beautiful tie-dyed clothing. He was full of life and had an extremely strong will to live and spread laughter, love, wisdom, healing and kindness. He made his friends laugh even when they didn't feel like laughing. He healed many with his wisdom and cared deeply for his friends and family. His favorite motto was "Be Kind".

He is survived by his father, Fred Long.

You will always be missed "Brother D", Love always, your friends.
