Obituary
Deana Marie “Neill” DeFrank, age 46, of King, NC, formerly of Brookhaven, PA passed away unexpectedly on March 29, 2022.
She was born on December 16, 1975, in Chester, PA to Marion Neill Eachus and the late Jerry Dean Compton (Sandra Compton). In 1992, Deana married Martin DeFrank.
During Deana’ life, she worked in retail and as a nursing assistant. Her greatest joy was her family, which she loved very much. Her hobbies included collecting various items and art/coloring.
In addition to her husband of the residence; and her mother of Brookhaven, PA, Deana is survived by her children, Lisa Marie DeFrank, Laurel Ann DeFrank, both of Brookhaven, PA; and Simon Adam DeFrank, of the residence; mother-in-law, Mary Runford, of Heath Springs, SC; brothers, Gerry Compton (Debbie), of Yadkinville, NC and John Neill of Ellsmary, DE; sisters, Debbie Marshall (Jimmy) of King, NC; Cyndi Shrewsbury (Glen) of Mocksville, NC; and Gina Compton, of East Bend, NC; step-mother, Doris Stinden, of Fancy Gap, VA; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her father-in-law, Anthony DeFrank; and sister, Jerri Sue Shumate (Johnny Shumate).
