Emily Cox Hinton

Emily Cox Hinton passed away at her home on Sunday morning, 8/14/2022 after starting her battle with Ovarian Cancer in 2019.  She was surrounded by her family there at her bedside with everyone laying hands on her and prayed and loved on her as she stepped from Earth into Heaven.

Emily spent so much timing loving on others during her life that she was surrounded by family and friends who all wanted to give back to her during the last few weeks after finding out that her cancer had come back.  She read every card and comment and shed quite a few tears of joy over the prayers and well wishes.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Sam Hinton Jr, her parents, Ronald & Rhonda Cox, her brother Chad Cox and his wife Tracy Cox and her nephew Tanner Cox.

Instead of sending flowers the family would encourage you to make donations in her memory to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA) or Hospice.

The memorial service will be held at Kernersville Friends Meeting, 320 N. Main St, Kernersville, NC at 2pm on Saturday 8/20/2022.  The family will receive visitors before the service from Noon until 1:45pm.
