Helen Delores Hamilton, 86, Kernersville, passed away on August 24, 2021 after a year long battle with COPD and Alzheimer's. Helen was born on September 10,1934 to Luther and Eula Graves in Leedy, Oklahoma. After graduating from Montebello High School in 1953, she met Earl Hamilton in 1954 and they wed in 1955, going on to have four children: Reberta Oast, Donna Huff, Theodore Hamilton and Brenda Carnell.
When Helen had her children, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Helen excelled at loving and supporting them through their many passions and difficulties of their lives. She made it her mission to improve the lives of others. Helen was a passionate at being a CNA, and when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found helping others. Her family will miss her greatly.
Helen was predeceased by Earl Hamilton, Luther and Eula Graves and Brandon Huff. She is survived by her sister: Velta Burrows of Fort Smith, Arkansas, her brother: Floyd Graves of Montana, her children: three girls and one son, Reberta and William Oast of Kernersville, NC, Donna and Jody Huff of Victorville, CA, Theodore Hamilton of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Brenda and David Carnell of Huntington, Arkansas. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
