Jesse Lee Fountain

Jessie Lee Fountain, age 56, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, November 18, 2019. He was born in Winston Salem, NC to Jack and Rose Fountain.  Jessie loved the outdoors, animals, and growing plants. He loved helping others with their personal struggles and always greeted everyone with a huge smile and a handshake or hug. Jessie painted houses and took great pride in his work. He is survived by his fiance', Susan Gladden McGarry of the home; his daughters, Ashley Fountain, of King, NC; Jessica Fountain, of California; a stepbrother, Dean Beckerdite, of Siloam, NC; an aunt, Ruby Shouse, of Kernersville, NC; and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at New Story Church, 1401 Trade Mart Blvd, Winston-Salem on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with cremation costs may be sent to Susan McGarry, 1219 Churton St., Apt. 4, Winston Salem, NC 27103
