Joshua Sumner Obituary

Joshua Channing Sumner, 32, of Walnut Cove passed away on July 26, 2019.

Mr. Sumner was born on December 23, 1986 to the Carl Sumner and the late Kimberly Crawford.

In addition to his father, those left to cherish his memory are: three daughters Sheyenne Nicole Sumner, Samantha Lynn Sumner and Shawna Marie Sumner; two brothers Jason Crawford and Jeremiah Sumner; two sisters Jessica Sumner and Joy-Lynn Bishop and husband Nate; two aunts Kathy Sanders and husband Wayne, and Carolyn Morales and husband Tony; uncle Harold Payne; grandfather Russell "PawPaw" Sumner; an "uncle" Bobby Coffey and a friend who is as close as a brother Joshua Lee Egyed "Lil Josh".

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 1 pm at Dogwood Event Center, 232 Newsome Rd, King, NC. Following the services, the family and friends will gather at Moratock Park in Danbury, NC to scatter Joshua's ashes and release balloons.
