Margaret “Peggy” M. Finnegan, 93, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living in High Point, NC.

Peggy was born May 28, 1930, in Manhattan, NY. She graduated from secretarial school in Manhattan and retired from Royal Globe Insurance Co. A longtime resident of Jersey City, NJ until moving to Tunkhannock PA. Peggy was a member of the Nativity of the BVM Church and will be forever remembered as a committed, beloved volunteer and friend to all at the Dietrich Theatre, PA for over 20 years.

Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joseph F. Finnegan. Peggy is survived by a sister Theresa Avlon, daughter Patti (George) Calhoun, son Michael (Karen) Finnegan, three granddaughters Devon, Shannon, Taylor, two great grandchildren Mackenzie, Jaxson and nieces and nephews.
