Michael McGirt Obituary

Michael McGirt, 62, of Clemmons, NC got his wings April 3, 2020. He is preceded in death by a mother Margaret Rose McGirt and brother Victor Sanderson of Pembroke, NC.

He is survived by two children Michael McGirt (Angie Watts McGirt) of Mt.Airy, NC and Tina Robinson (Michael Robinson) of Walkertown, NC. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Chasity McGirt, Nathan McGirt, Taylor Scott, Bruce Scott and Colt Scott. He also leaves behind sisters Zelma Gee of Comer, GA, Annette Thompson of Dallas, NC, and Renee Gunter of Kings Mountain, NC and brothers Timmy Thompson of Fort Mill, SC, and Arthur Mitchem of Clover, SC. The family would also like to acknowledge Jim Hayes whose friendship goes back over 30 years.

There will be a celebration of life on what would have been his 63rd birthday, July 28, 2020.
