Nancy Brewer Hendrix
Obituary
Nancy Brewer Hendrix, age 80 of Winston-Salem, passed away on Friday, February 10th at Heritage Woods Assisted Living in Winston-Salem.
She was born in Galax, VA to the late Claude & Una Lee Hanks Brewer.
Nancy attended National Business College on a basketball scholarship & later attended Forsyth Technical College where she earned her degree in business administration. She built her career at Reynolds Tobacco Company, Hendrix Building and Realty & the North Carolina Department of Labor.
Nancy fell in love with her late husband, bobby A. Hendrix. They married & completed their family with the arrival of their son, Carl Hendrix, on October 5, 1976.
Nancy is survived by her son Carl Hendrix; her stepdaughter Rene' Hendrix; her sisters Betty (Allen) Justice & Martha (Gary) Chrisman; brother Claude (Marion) Brewer, Jr.; brother Ted Brewer; as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews & cousins.
The family would like to thank Heritage Woods Assisted Living & Trellis Hospice of Winston-Salem for their kind loving care.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date & additional details will be provided when they are available.
