Paul Holcomb Obituary

Paul Wayne Holcomb was born on April 14, 1946 and died unexpectedly on February 22, 2023 in Winston-Salem, NC. Paul was predeceased by his father Byron Holcomb, mother Lottie Holcomb, brother James Kenneth Holcomb, cousin Larry Zimmerman and a number of additional cousins.

His family moved to eastern Virginia during Paul’s early years and lived in the towns of Ivor, Zuni and Courtland. He graduated from Southampton High School and Massey Business College in Richmond, Virginia.

Paul worked for AAA in Washington, DC for several years before moving to Minneapolis, Minnesota for 20+ years to work with several accounting firms. Upon his father’s death, Paul moved back to Winston-Salem to look after his mother. Several companies including Dillard’s, Modern Toyota and several jewelry establishments were fortunate to have Paul as an outstanding salesman. Paul retired from Helzberg Jewelers.
