Peggy Dixon Armour, 81, peacefully passed from this life on March 27, 2024.
Peggy was born on September 22, 1942 to Dewey and Vilintie Dixon in Baltimore County, Maryland.
She was a graduate of North East High School and a retiree of the United States Postal Service.
She enjoyed tending to her flowers and listening to music. But mostly she enjoyed spending time with her beloved family.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband, Eugene Armour; a daughter, Angie Salmons; a brother, Bryant Dixon; and a sister, Charity Bryant.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Karen (Ron) Luffman; Joe Salmons; Tonya (Preston) Barrett; and Amanda (Steve) Goldsmith; eleven grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, and numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will take place; however, final arrangements are still pending at this time.
The family would like to sincerely thank the medical staff in 4B-ICU, the fourth floor of Ardmore Tower, and Dr. Rebecca Omlor at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.
